Laila's Easter Decor

     Come hop with me into my home and see my Easter decor  - décor that’s all about  Easter! Easter eggs, Easter bunnies, peeps and chicken! While doing up my Easter decorations, I never forget the meaning of Easter which is about the resurrection of Christ. I’m happy and joyful that Christ has risen from the dead and He is the center of everything that I am and do. I enjoy Easter and I celebrate it because I remember why I am celebrating!

Brooding hens  always remind me of  Psalm 91:4(NIV)...
'He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart'

Christians adopted the colored egg as a symbol of new life which comes with the Resurrection.

 Jesus said , “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die - John 11:25(NIV)

• The color of spring -PINK ! My lil lamb carting a nest with a white and pink polka dotted egg while the geese look on!

Just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.Romans6:4

• Can Easter decor be complete without Easter bunny and eggs?
   Seriously, what do bunnies and eggs have to do with Easter or the resurrection of Christ? Nothing, actually! Since birds usually lay their eggs in spring and rabbits which are very fertile animals whose babies scamper about in spring, eggs and bunnies became the natural symbol for spring, rebirth, and new life.

'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him' John 3:16-17

• My special favorite precious bunnies - gifted  long ago,chosen  so very lovingly by a tiny girl for whom I was her world...my daughter Nina.

A sincere prayer  for my daughter...Dear Lord, I only ask that you send her your Holy Spirit, as I place her in your heart.May she follow in Your footsteps as she walks through life each day. Please bless her, and watch over her, with humble heart I pray.Amen.
